An ABI seminar by Prof. Roy D Bloebaum, University of Utah.

Professor Bloebaum is Director of the Bone and Joint Research Laboratory and currently holds the Albert and Margaret Hofmann Chair in Orthopaedic Research at the University of Utah Medical School. Over the last 40 years he has made major contributions to musculoskeletal research and has current interests in implant biomechanics, developing osseointegrated implants for amputees, prevention of infection around implants and bone remodelling. 

His talk will focus on research directions for musculoskeletal scientists and how we can deal with the commercially driven world we live in.
