What is Bioengineering?

05 July 2017

Watch our senior research fellow, Dr Alys Clark, and PhD candidate Sam Richardson explain what bioengineering is and our ground-breaking and collaborative research on the lungs and other aspects of the human body.

Our research involves using engineering, physics, maths, physiology, molecular biology and computer science to make personalised 3D computer models of the human body to better understand, predict, diagnose and treat illness.

This is a part of the University of Auckland "Never Stop" campaign to highlight the difference research can make on everyday life.
