Muhammad Ul Haque

Muhammad Zeeshan Ul Haque received a MSc degree in Medical Electronics and Physics from Queen Mary, University of London, UK and a BS degree in Biomedical Engineering from SSUET, Pakistan with a first class honors. He joined Auckland Bioengineering Institute as a PhD student in 2009.

Muhammad is doing research on the model development of the nerves of the foot which emphasis on the somatosensory nerve network of the skin. Such a model would initially find practical application in the treatment of chronic- trauma wounds e.g. the model will be useful to examine peripheral neuropathy in the diabetic foot.

Muhammad attained his doctorate in 2014, and is now an Assistant Professor at the Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology.
