Dr Daniel Xu
Daniel graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics with First Class Honours in 2012 and is undertaking a PhD with the Biomimetics Laboratory at the University of Auckland. His research simplifies sensing of dielectric elastomers for use in wearable motion capture applications. Daniel is developing low energy sensing systems, robust algorithms and electronics to extract more detailed information from these sensors.
