Ian has a Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours, specialising in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Canterbury.
 

Research | Current

Lifetime monitoring of pressure from an implanted sensor

Ian's research involves development to extend the lifetime of implantable pressure sensors, which are used for chronic monitoring of intracranial pressure in patients suffering from Hydrocephalus. Specifically, his research is focused on improving long term sensor drift and developing automatic failure detection.
