Profile
Glenn Ramsey received BE(Hons) and ME degrees in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Auckland in 1992 and 1994. He began part-time study for a PhD Degree in 2003.
His research project, Equine Hoof Biomechanics, involves creating a finite deformation elasticity finite element model of the equine hoof to investigate the biomechancial function of the hoof in relation to variations in its geometry. This work has shown insights into the functional morphology of the hoof and has implications for hoof care practices.
In his professional career, Glenn works as a freelance software developer.
