Profile

Greg was born and raised about two hours from Washington, DC in Charlottesville, Virginia. He graduated from the University of Virginia in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, and joined the Auckland Bioengineering Institute in mid-2011 as a doctoral candidate.

Greg's doctoral research is focused on combining biophysical measurements and computational modelling to determine how the spatial and temporal organisation of cardiomyocytes allows distinct calcium signals to operate concurrently. He is currently in the reading phase of the project.

In his spare time Greg likes to drink white tea, play speed scrabble, and practice modular origami.
